About Us.
Alison Mathews is a classically trained pianist and graduate of the Royal College of Music (BMus Hons), London, UK. With the philosophy of music at the heart of her studies Alison then completed a masters degree at Surrey University, Surrey, UK
Alison then went on to build a highly regarded private teaching practice alongside running educational workshops. Alison founded and directs the UK piano festival, 'Compose Yourself' for pianists aged 5 to 18. Amongst her works are 'Treasure Trove', 'Doodles' and 'Landscapes', published by Editions Musica Ferrum. She has contributed to the educational volumes 'Mosaic', Piano Star Duets with commissions from ABRSM and Trinity College London.
